Burl ZornBurl Zorn has been involved in the gaming community since 1981. He has been both an avid roleplayer for the last two and a half decades. He pretty much sticks to all of the various versions of Dungeons and Dragons, but has been known to play almost any roleplaying game set before him.

He's been a fan of board games since he was a child in the 60's, occasionally designing games to entertain his three younger sisters as they moved across the country in the whirlwind lifestyle of the military brat. As an adult he has only designed one, which was given to a friend of his as a birthday present. It was well received, but dealt with his friend's short movie career in Muskie Madness and his personal life, so was probably only entertaining to people who actually knew the subject of the game.

The first game he ran at a convention was due only to a game master not showing up and him volunteering to run a module that he had just picked up. That went well and he has been running games at various conventions and game stores since. At most of the conventions, he runs an ongoing Dungeons and Dragons campaign and offers many board games for people to play and enjoy.

Conventions he has attended and run game rooms or games at include: Con of the North, Gencon, Convergence, Twincon, Recon, Marscon, and Ares Con to name a few.

He opened a game store in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin with Margaret Weis called the Game Guild in 1995 which did very well for the first few years, but started to fail as a result of its' largest customer base (TSR) being bought out by Wizards of the Coast and shipping out to Seattle. He then moved back to Minnesota to be closer to his mother who was fighting MS and continues to carry on that battle to this day!

He has been working at Source Comics & Games, one of the largest game stores in the country, for the last 10 years of his life, coercing friends and customers alike to buy lots of games that they tend to have a very good time with.

He's started a game night at a local coffee shop, Ginkgo's, on Mondays that all are welcome to attend and has been going strong for 2 years now.

He is ready to host a gaming room and is looking for any requests for games that people may like to have going. He has a host of people to draw from to supply almost any gaming request. Just let him know!
